

Not to mention the embarassment of having guests ride in the car with me for the Ultimate Driving Experience and see my iDrive not functioning properly. What's worst is that I have to wait for BMW to do more research on the problem for it to get resolved.

This time I was advised the problem is a software issue. Then I got a call last week of a new diagnosis. I wasn't able to get the vehicle immediately repaired because the display/iDrive is on back order. Initially I was given a diagnosis of overheating and the display/idrive needed to be replaced. I took my vehicle to the dealer a few weeks ago.

I have several situations where the display screen will blank out. Unfortunately, since my purchase I've been experiencing problems with the iDrive. The 328i has been my dream car and I was elated I was finally able to purchase it. I purchased my 2012 BMW 328i in February of this year.
